MVF's mission is to connect and improve the community through farming, healthy produce distribution, and youth workforce training. Their vision is to have a plentiful Greenville connected to the food system, with access to healthy produce for all.
MVF works in collaboration with Foodshare, a fresh food program, to help distribute MVF's produce to the middle or low income people of Greenville.
MVF also offers a youth program for 8th-10th graders to learn about food, character development, gardening, and agriculture. It is divided into spoons and sprouts, spoons being an introductory course and sprouts being more in depth into agriculture.
